ATF Additive

Optimally cares for rubber and plastic seals in steering gears and automatic transmissions. Leaks on transmissions and gears, caused by hardened and brittle seals, are prevented and eliminated. Cleans holes and channels in the transmission and refreshes the oil’s performance. Reduces noise formation and improves the shifting in automatic transmissions. Extends the life of steering gears and automatic transmissions.

Description

Due to the additives contained, rubber and plastic seals in power-steering and transmissions receive optimal care. Leaks in the gearbox caused by hardened or brittle seals are prevented or remedied. In addition, holes and ducts in the transmission are cleaned, the performance of the oil is revitalized. The noise from the power-steering will be reduced and the shifting operations are improved. Using ATF Additives, the service life of automatic transmissions can be lengthened and repair costs reduced.

Intended use

Add ATF Additive to the power steering reservoir or add to the transmission oil through the dipstick. The contents of 250 ml are sufficient for up to 8 l oil volume. Suitable for steering gears and automatic transmissions that are filled with ATF II and ATF III oils.

Areas of application

Developed for the latest generation of the Mercedes Benz 7-speed automatic transmission and is backwards compatible with the older Mercedes-Benz 5- speed automatic transmissions. Transfer boxes also sometimes require a lubricant with this specification. Usage according to the prescribed specifications from the unit or vehicle manufacturer.

The specifications and instructions from the unit or vehicle manufacturer must be followed. Optimum effectiveness is only possible when the product is used unmixed.
